Jewelry, Clothing and Textile Creations

These designs explore character, movement, and atmosphere in miniature. Metal, bone, resin, and fiber become expressive elements, each piece revealing its own posture, its own story in the details.

Pearl Woman on the Moon Necklace

I’ve always loved nighttime and since my middle name is Pearl, this is a perfect combination emotion and form. I attached a little golden woman lounging on the moon onto a shell and strung the pearl strands.

Alligator Tooth

Inspired by Baroque jewelry, this necklace is made from two earrings, a broken pendant and an alligator tooth I got when I was 9.

Gopher Skull Pendant

This pendant is made from a gopher skull I found while dissecting an owl pellet. The tree sap in its eyes are from a tree in my childhood yard.

Gopher Skull Jaw Earring

In the movie Aquamarine, a mermaid sticks little starfish on her ears and they garner compliments to her all day. My earring made of broken gopher jaws do the same for me.

Pearl Flower Choker

I am truly proud of this, my first piece of jewelry. I made it to wear to my senior prom. Using a broken bolo tie as the base, I glued each pearl leaf around and around until I formed a flower.

Skull Mask

I painted this mask for the family-friendly version of a haunted maze. This mask was on the Death Singers who, acting like the twins from The Shining, told the story of how jack-o-lanterns came to be.
